Thanks to this study, the dimensions, structure, and state of conservation of the European yew can be calculated in the yew woods of Tosande, in the Natural Park of Fuentes Carrionas and Fuente Cobre-Montaña Palentina. It will also enable to study the yew tree of San Cristobal de Valdueza, located in the region of El Bierzo.

The characterization of 9580 Habitat* at the ‵Mediterranean Forests of Taxus baccata′ in the Cantabrian Mountains of Castile and Leon was done from various perspectives, as one of the multiple actions implemented within the LIFE BACCATA Project.
As part of the LIFE BACCATA Project, the characterization of forestry formations with yew trees in Aralar and Pagoeta (Gipuzkoa, Spain) was conducted. The survey included the 3-D high-precision land photogrammetric mapping of the plots which are representative of these spaces.
