The goal of the work is to carry out the characterization and previous diagnosis works ofthe priority habitat 9580 *, "Mediterranean Forests of Taxus baccata", present in different spaces of the Natura 2000 Network of the Cantabrian Mountains.

Carrión de Los Condes hosts the sixth meeting of the coordination team of the LIFE BACCATA project with the participation of representatives of the University of Santiago de Compostela, Hazi, the Cesefor Foundation, the Junta de Castilla y Leó and TRAGSA.

The LIFE BACCATA project (LIFE15 NAT/ES/000790) held on Wednesday 1st February 2017, at the Centre for Fire Defence (CDF) in León, the second meeting of its coordination team. In this new meeting, several aspects related to the implementation of the project were discussed, as well as the coordination of several tasks to be carried out in 2017.

The coordinating beneficiary (IBADER) of the LIFE BACCATA project (LIFE15 NAT/ES/000790) participated last October 6th in the kick off meeting held by the European Commission within the framework of the LIFE programme.
